Caldrees Manor
Ickleton, Cambridgeshire
Since 2002
Design, Build & Maintenance Client
For over two decades, Caldrees Manor has been one of our most cherished and long-standing projects. Will began working there in 2002 starting with just one day a week cutting the lawns. Fast forward to today, we now have a lovely team who visit weekly to maintain the gardens we designed and built!
Since those early days, Will has not only maintained the grounds, but has also designed and built the gardens, shaping the beautiful, characterful spaces you see today. From the Japanese garden to the Wild garden, Rose gardens, Acer glades and more – each area has been thoughtfully created through Will’s vision and craft.
During this time, we have also had the pleasure of opening the gardens to the public through the National Garden Scheme and Ickleton Open Gardens, welcoming visitors from far and wide. We have given numerous private tours and Will has even been interviewed on the radio about the gardens and their long-term development. We also proud to have won a national award for our maintenance work here too!
From the client
“Will has been responsible for designing, landscaping and maintaining our garden for over 20 years. In that time, he has transformed it. Thanks to his vision, energy, enthusiasm and knowledge we have a garden we could never have dreamed of. We now have beauty, colour and joy in our garden. Will and his team have always been totally reliable in every respect, and I would unreservedly recommend them.”
