Jacq and Wills Landscapes is a garden design, build and maintenance practice based in Saffron Walden. Founded by Jacqueline and Will, the business has grown into a family practice with the addition of their daughter Sasha, her fiancé Reuben and their skilled team.
We’re proud to be a family-run business. Our vision is to bring to life horticulturally interesting gardens of all shapes and sizes, full of beauty, heart and consideration.
Rooted in a shared love of creativity, nature and long-term relationships, their work is shaped by the belief that gardens are essential to wellbeing and central to life’s most meaningful moments. From birthday celebrations and midsummer evenings to quiet winter views enjoyed from indoors; being able to design, build and then care for gardens over many years allows spaces to mature naturally and elegantly with you.

We design, create and maintain unique, endlessly beautiful gardens in and around Saffron Walden, Cambridge, Newmarket, Clare and surrounding villages. We are proudly accredited members of both the APL and BALI, ensuring that we complete our work to the highest industry standard.

The Team
Will Petty
Will began his career in film and television special effects before following a lifelong passion for horticulture and retraining as a garden designer in 1998, gaining his RHS and Garden Design qualifications. Thanks to his background, Will has a unique, highly visual approach to design, allowing him to bring sustainable, beautiful and imaginative gardens to life.
With over 20 years’ experience, Will is a powerful driving force for the business. He brings passion and energy to building sustainable relationships with his clients and team, allowing them, and their projects, to flourish.
Will has spent 20 years mastering the art of the long-term partnership. Known for his infectious energy, he focuses on growing meaningful connections that ensure long-term success for both his clients and his team.
Jacqueline Petty
Jacqueline began her career as an actress before following a growing interest in horticulture and the natural world. With a lifelong passion for nature and holistic wellbeing, she works closely with Will to ensure these values are reflected throughout their designs. Alongside her creative role, Jacqueline works in the office with their daughter Sasha and brings her love of wellness and nature to the wider Jacq and Wills Landscapes community.
Sasha Petty
Having grown up surrounded by nature and creativity, Sasha was the perfect addition to the team. Working alongside her family, she has developed a deep passion for meaningful client relationships and for creating gardens that feel personal, thoughtful and lasting. She plays a key role in keeping the business running smoothly day to day, while also supporting its growth and creative direction. Sasha is currently working towards becoming a qualified garden designer so she can work alongside Will and help to bring clients’ dream gardens to life.
